Government Doctor Missing, Feared Kidnapped
COTABATO CITY – A government doctor has been missing since Sunday. Her family and friends suspect a possible kidnapping.
The local government of Cotabato City is offering a reward of P300,000 for any information that can aid the police and military in locating Dr. Marivic Tello.
Tello is an obstetrician-gynecologist and a medical practitioner at the Cotabato Regional Medical Center.
The missing doctor is the spouse of retired Police Gen. Agustin Tello, a former provincial director of the previously undivided Maguindanao province.
Both Brig. Allan Nobleza, director of the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR), and Army Major Gen. Alex Rillera, commander of the 6th Infantry Division said their respective units are collaborating to determine Tello’s current location.
